Roo's ideal home

Roo is a lovely little 7 month old crossbreed who has found himself here with us after being found as a stray. We know very little about his previously history however he's now settling right into home life in a foster home. He's enjoy snuggles on the sofa and making lots of new friends with everyone that visits. He's still working on his housetraining so his forever family will need to be willing to continuing his training in this area. He loves his food and is known to be a bit of a kangaROO when it's dinner time! He loves anything he can get his nose into like snuffle matts too. Roo is yet to meet anyone he doesn't like but he doesn't quite understand "personal space" and will try and give out kisses to everyone he can! We think he could live with any age children following a meeting here at the centre. He's been friendly meeting dogs out on his walks, but can be worried if there a little over the top however we think he could happily share his forever home with another dog. He's quite happy being left for a few hours and like his comfy bed to snooze on.

Being a youngster, Roo will need some ongoing training with things he's not quite mastered yet, like his housetraining and will need help getting used to things like car travel. He has seen cats out on his walkies, with no reactions so we think he could possibly live with a dog-savvy cat following careful introductions.
